With Strike Oil EWC has enormous potential for discovery of CSG in the Cooper Basin. Drilling has started and our potential is about $1.5b worth of gas(30% interest). This could be huge and I expect speculation on results as drilling approaches target depths. This will be part of the LNG proposal at Abbot Point. Looks good and I think the sell down in EWC is at least partly due to tax loss selling. EWC should rebound in July.
Did anyone notice that Morgan Stanley(the investment bank) has been quietly building a sustantial holding of about 8.5% over the last few months. Together with SE EWC stock will be very tightly held.
