Hi Guys,
Not sure why the market isn't factoring Viscaria into the price here...? Well, if it is - a heavily discounted and unreasonable valuation is being applied. Given the recent rise in copper from around US$4,600 a tonne in October to a recent high of $US5,885 you would have thought we would see more speculation!
At a US$6,000 copper price Viscaria presents a 20% IRR project and NPV of around US$100mil…Copper currently $5,705. If AVI aren’t planning on taking this to production there must surely be others out there who are willing to… I wouldn’t be surprised if there were a few opportunistic predators out there running the ruler over this one.
Just in case you were wondering… US$100,000 converted to Australian Dollars works out at 20c per share fully diluted! Did someone say special dividend? YES PLEASE!!!
