Unfortunately an honest update from the kingsgate BOD would probably read like this:
"We,ve f*****d it up,sold our mines to our mates for a fraction of what they are worth,let a disaster happen to our thai mine and instead of trying to remedy the situation we,ve put a trading halt in place so we can continue to draw our big fat salaries and expenses for doing very little.We,re hoping that the situation in Thailand sorts itself out,but in the meantime we,ll keep hiding behind the trading halt for as long as we can.We hope ASX doesnt force us to lift the suspension or all the shareholders will leave."
Just my opinion on what an honest update from KCN might be.......
