Does any other Company ask for a trading halt when there is a fatality unrelated to production or the Company operations, I dont think so, could you imagine BHP or Rio doing such a thing.
Perhaps you would stop production for the police to investigated and you would also inform the shareholdes as to why you had stop production, but to ask for a trading halt further shows the lack of judgement by the BOD. in my opinion amatures driving the price into the ground.
It has npthing to do with my lack of respect for the decreased, I dont have enough details on what happened but any fatality is terrible, but from a shareholders perspectiveit just doesn't make sense.
