Maybe a more reasonable view needs to be offered. Wah Wah Wah Luke this Luke that. Don't get me wrong I don't like or respect the individual either. The deal is complimentary for each entity as has been well documented on here. But the reality if this wasn't a friendly merger then one would have to hostile takeover the other. If SLR made the move then they would have to pay a 30-40% takeover premium, circa $350M poof up in smoke for the same outcome.
In this case 1+1=3 for sure. Merged entity has a great balance sheet, loads of cash (plus return of SLR's RED shares as cash post merger), prolific and growing production profile and poised for further M+A. Oh yeah POG will rocket by the end of the year just as we bring Sugar Zone back into production.
