Luke Tonkin's timing is in the toilet and I told hlm so the day of the announcement. How do I know his timing was lousy, some may ask, and the answer is simple.
February, March, April, May is the strongest period for gold shares and any clown that was prepared to look back over the last two decades would have known that. For that reason and that reason alone, he SHOULD have held off doing any deal based on RED's atrocious hedge book, because they would have way under performed SLR in the coming months, thus SLR would have been in a far better position financially and on a valuation level.
