Everyday punters won't get excited until they either 1. think they are missing out on a pump, or 2. see results so spectacular that they and the brokers can't ignore it, which forces the floor price higher.
So it is at the mercy of those who are running the price around, they can wait for as long as it takes to suck out what ever volume they need for the next pump, or alternatively we need many holes > 10,000 ppm which will stir up some new interest.
