Yes these are different styles of mineralisation but the serendipity of 3 separate areas yielding moderate to high grade REEs/Nb/Phosphates LEADS ONE TO SPECULATE THE AREA HAS EXCITING POTENTIAL.

Gravity surveys do appear to be more helpful though it is too early to say why or if this is correct.
I say this based mainly on the Luni target where magnetics are subdued on the ENR regional set (need to check resolution and spacing data to see if this is a valid observation).

As with P2 the geophysical trends are NOT favourable for ENR IMO with EW continuations covered by WA1 ground.

The P1 target is not a carbonatite
where drilled. It is a very large mag/grav anomaly and will receive more attention though there are more compelling targets for WA1 at P2 and Luni.
[The lithologies intersected at the P1 target have been identified as fundamentally different to the carbonatite intersected at the P2 target located 7km to the south-east.]The ENR hole targets a strong magnetic high as distinct to the Luni holes. Results are similar, but different. An implication of this is that exploration targeting will require cracking a geophysical code to get the best results. Serendipity helps to drill 3 anomalous zones out of 4.

@salpetieFull circle back to province scale. Rio JV'd with AZY and found Winu a little further from the JV boundary than Luni is to ENR ground. Some 5 years later Winu only has Ngapakarra as a companion discovery.
I do suspect there is more likelihood of additional REE +- Nb +- Cu +- phosphate +- ?? to come out of the Aileron/West Arunta area. How big and rich will a deposit need to be in this remote location to justify going to a mine? With Rio already active and BHP historically the scale of the prize for a major discovery is hinted just by their involvement in the area. Just arm waving which is easier to do than find a large deposit in the centre of Oz.
