Update from Mitra regarding the use of the ENI bound jack-up rig. At this rate it would appear that spud date for B105 might still be a month away. This is based on the duration of their last drill and the distance needed to travel to B105.
Exploration well 46/07-HC-1X (Hon Chuoi) was spudded today in Block 46/07, offshore Vietnam, by the partnership of the Block 46/07 PSC. It is the last well in a planned three well drilling programme operated by Mitra in Block 46/07 and Block 45. The drilling operations are being carried out by the Ensco 107 jack-up drilling rig.
Mitra holds a 35% operating working interest in the PSC while the remaining interests in the PSC are held by Talisman (35%) and PVEP (30%).
