One benefit of recent delays is that it seems that they have their cash sitting in Australia. So as the euro depreciates against the A$, it makes the €20 million payment to NEWCO cheaper everyday.
From their latest cashflow statement there is no FX adjustment required against the amount of cash the have in hand, so most likely it is in A$.
Hopefully, they get the chance to spend this cash on NEWCO.
