Yeah, this is very positive news.
Vale has been operating its mine in the Thompson Nickel Belt in Canada for the past 50 years, and in that time it's produced four billion pounds of nickel !
Furthermore, Mark Creasy (the Guru) was once quoted as saying that the Fraser Range is the geological clone of the Thompson Nickel Belt.
So it's now pretty clear that Vale is of the same opinion and wants a piece of the action in the hottest exploration province around.
