Yes, they, Greenlanders, seem to be obsessed with utopianism, where life has to be perfect.
They seem to be incapable of accepting that life (mining) has risks, that you can't generate wealth and thus prosperity without it.
Perhaps this has come about because they've survived on Danish hand-outs and want to carry on living in a dream world without having to work, suffer, and earn.
This sentiment applies also to European social democratic values i.e. utopian-related government control.
It's all pathetic really.
