Speaking personally, and based on the quoted securities details of the 20 largest shareholders (p. 246 Mesoblast Annual Report 2023), I believe it is significant - i.e. as a shareholder - that CEO Itescu is committing personally to spend at least AUD2,540,693.925 on fully-paid ordinary shares in Mesoblast Limited in the announced rights issue.
I'm working off 67,751,838 FPOs, a 1:4 entitlement & CEO Itescu's notice in the Corporate Presentation that he'd be taking up the majority of his entitlement.
Perhaps that means nothing to some people, but it's materially significant to me, personally.
