well actually i did, strange but true. i called Phil and had a chat about the extension, which i hadnt realised occurred and still thought cut off was 28th july. also he talked about future opportunities for MEL.
he was quietly confident in the cooper basin foray and how it would lead to the re-rating of MEL in the eyes of the market. also that next year MEL would be a producer and then mentioned another play i had never heard of. this was riskier but he said it would be worth it but would not be considered until MEL had an income stream.
it was quite a good conversation and a bit more reassuring than the dribble i use to get from a certain broker that is no longer associated with MEL.
anyway Phil hope your cough gets better soon and thank you for the chat.
note: based on this i changed my sentiment to hold
