Well it was to be expected, as i've said before it's almost like it was deliberate.
The thing is we can't complain because we were given every chance to take up our stakes.
Now we are going to have to watch someone swan in and clean up on this.
Realistically no big shareholding was going to change hands before the spud, we were in the midst of a strong rally, so no opportunity for a new major stake to be aquired(without producing massive rally and being priced out).
Then comes a heavily undersold and unexpected cap raise that's not underwritin, perfect for a new major holder to swan in and pick up a nice stake.
May be off the mark but that is certainly how it looks to me, we can only wait and see what they do with this "shortfall".
