I wouldn't stress too much about AEP, they have a stated intention of holding onto IBA for a 3-5 year term (see their latest half yearly report).

People are selling their IBA shares now to raise some cash so that they can participate in the entitlement offer that closes on the 6th April... if you don't have cash lying about you need to sell some shares to write out IBA a cheque for your rights entitlement...
