Entitlements, page-18

Question for you: I bought some more PENRC on Friday as it was the first day they appeared in my Commsec. I purchased extras - on top of those I was originally entitled to. I ended up with a few more than I wanted and wish to sell some. The settlement isn't until the 18th? But entitlement trading ceases on the 17th? I can't short-sell with Commsec, and CommSec tells me I must own minimum $500 of any stock. I bought $400 worth of PENRC and wish to reduce to $300 but CommSec won't let me offload them because of the minimum hold rule of $500 and minimum hold period. But CommSec let me buy less than $500 worth, how does that work?? When they become PEN it's worth 10K though? .... How do I get rid of a few?? So confusing for a beginner
