The opportunity still exists for you to show a little grace & say "well done" to all the decent guys who are now a little happier & richer having withstood all your nasty putdowns re SML.
Its not the fact that you got SML completely wrong (we are do sometimes), but the personal attacks on everyone who tried to engage you without ever offering one grain of substance.
