I don’t usually sell 100% of my stock if I like the company, no matter how tempting it is to realise the gains. Best to keep some powder dry. If the company appears to be a cracker, then I stretch and buy more than I need. I plan to sell 1/3 when NVX reaches $5.00 (possibly very soon) so that my remaining shares are free float. Then I don’t have to worry about price fluctuations and further trading, my holding is derisked.
If NVX continue on this trajectory, then I might just sell 1/6 of my holding to cover cost.
I think NVX are going to continue to rise on expectation of the Tennessee plant upgrade commissioning in Feb 2021 and increased production volumes from 3rd qtr 2021. The Sanyo MOU may become formalised and there are rumours of EU expansion. Further, the supply side is thin on the ASX. All this is bullish for NVX for a little while to come. I think only macro conditions affecting the entire market may cause a pullback.
