Moabsvelden Environmental Approval Granted
Xceed Resources Limited (the “Company”) is pleased to advise that the Mpumalanga
Provincial Government in South Africa has, under the powers conferred on it by the
National Environmental Management Act 1998 and the Environmental Impact
Assessment Regulations 2006, granted its approval for the development of the
Moabsvelden thermal coal project.
Importantly, this environmental approval has been given in accordance with the
application submitted with no additional conditions or constraints.
The environmental approval is the second of three major licenses required to develop
the Moabsvelden project. The first, the Mining Right, has already been received. The
Company expects that the third and last major license, the Integrated Water Usage
License, will be granted in due course. Discussions with the Department of Water
Affairs in regard to this final license are at an advanced stage.
