A major requirement for the grant of an exploitation permit/mining licence is the provision to government of an environmental assessment statement.This has been highlighted by the company in its presentations and reports for the past year or so.Until last week it was stated it would be completed by end of 2023.In the last report of the company it is now stated to be completed by first quarter 2024.The company should have explained the cause of the delay given the importance of this assessment.
