On AJL in Oz; Gas price will go up big time this year due to export gas facilities coming online. This will reflect on new industry investments with subsequent workload for contractors.

In the UK shale will go ahead. This will not be stopped by 5 trucks a day (...) or a humming drilling rig (...). Nor by anarchist led protestors, that went from occupy to shale, and are already buying in to new protest topics. Bottom line of today's status is that the new laws for access rights have been accepted in parliament, and that the environment permits have been issued to Cuadrilla. SO ENVIRONMENT IS NOT A STOPPER!

Europe is, literally as we speak, seeing new tension in the relationship with Russia (it is winter, so they are playing their cards right). Over the next few weeks it will be a media headline.
The same goes for the relationships with Middle East countries. Countries that supply the UK have known conflicting interests when it comes to supporting extremists. They may very well overcome these issues, but it will take time.
Question is; how important is energy security and independence?

For me this issue remains a no-brainer. Still we are dependent on the AJL management in terms of running the operations in an acceptable way.
