Been reading up on this of late,
environmental problems with graphite mining in China.
Now just think about the problems that China is having at the moment with this, how will they address this problem? we all have read, or heard about the environmental problems in China. In the past,
they have used acid when processing graphite in China, and then dump the acid-rich tailings direct into the local river systems.
In some province of China,
the local Governments have ordered a halt in production of graphite,
on environmental grounds, also
they have installed new laws in the graphite industry, too reduce the impact from graphite mining. China graphite deposits are not high grade, I think the average grade is around 2 or 3% of total graphite carbon (TGC)
Also read that,
if China's graphite industry is not reformed, the country will deplete its graphite resources within 20 years!
I have also read,
that over 200 graphite mines have been closed in China, due too the environmental issue in China, with all of these graphite mine shut down and no-longer producing graphite in China........
How will China find new ways to supply itself with graphite is the bigger question I believe!
We all know
that China is showing interest in TON,
ask yourself this, why are they doing just that?.......
What is the bigger picture in all of this?
What is the end game in China's plan?
When China thinks about its future way of life,
they do not plan for 5-10 years in the future.....
They plan for upwards of 20-30+ years ahead. Could this be the reason that China is now looking at TON???
