I thought about it. I change my mind, asking for COVID flexibility due to a delay in decision doesn't make sense because the permit stayed "in force". So Advent could have drilled or at least got NOPSEMA approval, but they chose not to.
For example, look at what they did instead, they "hired" consultants (whilst the permit was "in force"). They could have had a NOPSEMA application in right now, but they chose not to.
It works both ways, they are getting "free time" during the Joint Authority's decision, and they are choosing not to submit a NOPSEMA application. (I understand they are trying to get this done, but obviously are now running out of time).
