It's a single assessment. The extension and suspension work together (there is example in the Legislation somewhere to outlines the process), the variation is still apart of the single application and will be viewed on its merits. (we dont know what they are as we cant seet he application or NOPTA recommendation)

Its been sitting with the JA for 220 Days, circa 8 months. Meaning NOPTA made their recommendations mid-last year (from what Flam said, the JA asked some questions which created an RFI event).

JB made his call in Feb and that was saying No. This is consistent with every state JA assessment since the original approval.

It's now with KP to make a call and he can easily override JB, as per the historical decisions. And under the legislation, it appears the state JA decision is to keep them happy, they have no real say at all. It's all on the commonwealth JA to make to call

KP said he would make the call in the near future in late Feb.

Also if he waits until September, that would mean Advent has 5 months to get the environmental approval, book a rig and actually drill the hole.

The first approval is in the final stage, the decision to make a call. Hence it could happen at any time. today, tomorrow or a month from now. Only KP knows when he will make the call.
