Wouldn't this be the perfect time for E.On to sell their Electricity network and replaced them with Gas powered Electricity generating CFU units?

Could be wishful thinking on my part, but maybe E.On have done the sums of the investment required to maintain the wholesale network and have seen the disruptive technology of the future and have decided now is the time to offload their assets.

Also, they may just want to focus on the retail and not the wholesale side of the business.
