EOS Defence Systems and RAIDER Targetry have teamed up for the delivery of new mobile moving target systems, to be built and trialled in Australia.Electro Optic Systems’ announced that its subsidiary EOS Defence Systems has entered into an agreement with RAIDER Targetry for the delivery of Mobile Moving Target Systems (MMTS), which will be used to support the defence of Australia’s borders by identifying hostile moving targets.
According to a statement by the company, the new MMTS will be both built and trialled in Australia and will work by both day and night, equipped with both thermal and optical sensing.
It is expected that RAIDER Targetry will provide EOS with the MMTS for testing with the R400 weapon station, T2000 turret and the Titanis directed energy weapon over the next few months.
