Do we have a cultural problem within Sol? I mean it has been a traditional type business with traditonal type ethics for decades! Some would accuse them of being a little sleepy, but only some.

Now just today, though it has been brewing for a while, is a deal which seems to come from a rapacious merchant bank. Sol has extended a "lifeline" to EOS which could also be enough to choke it! I have seen banks do this with distressed businesses, lend them money at exorbitant interest rates which makes the probability of them going broke even higher!

Just not sure if it is wholely the work of the CEO who did have an investment banking history, but if so is he the right fit? I mean the merger with Milton I am sure was very good for his salary (and ego), but was it a good deal for SOL shareholdrers? I mean I expressed doubts on the BKW threads due to diminishing the interests of BKW in Sol itself, plus diluting New Hope Coal- I guess I did not see NHC being so spectacular in share price climb, but then again nor did the SOL CEO. SOL's interest in the undervalued BKW was diluted by the deal also.

Seems to have been a few missteps with likes of Copper business , TPG not working out real well etc. No-one gets them all correct, but I have a few doubts.
