Hi, I think there have been one or two CEO bulletins or Co ann not so long ago saying to the effect that the Cos focus would be on the 3GL & MAUL with its associated ammo, leaving I imagine all other applications on the back burner, I believe the need to get certification or qualification of one of these two is paramount apart from anything else I think it may have been a condition of the note holder agreement although that may have been revised recently since its original drawing up.
I think the development of the MAUL may also have been seen as an opportunity to leapfrog the 3GLs far as getting to market early & first for which I guess you can say has happened with the Canadian interest in buying 3.....was it? primarily for testing procedures as I understand it with a good chance if acceptable to have follow up orders.
With the work that has gone into the 3GL & ammo its this 40mm application, to my mind at least that needs certification /qualification the most, as that this would validate the 40mm tech for all other 40mm applications...............thats my thinking on it anyway.
