The influence of 0.39% of short stock on issue I would generally consider negligible other than for purpose of trading or hedging so it will be good to see the updated short position stock report and to see how much of that 106,897 you observed was held over or simply pushed through. 2.67% of turnover yesterday and last reported short exposure at 0.50 days to cover. Percentage total trades CBOE vs ASX might also be interesting. Observer only though. No clear picture for me yet. No investments. No trades. Enjoy your day !
