If OCP can provide an emissions reductions/advantage for these heavier fuels which it should by mere fact of it's "complete burn" then it's a double plus. If all the carbon can be burnt(yes, it does make CO2, but that's how energy gets released)then it will run cleaner by using the fuel (more)completely, and subsequently provide the maximum power available for that fuel. At least better than anyone else can!!
If the aviation industry picks this up and runs with it, then the "sky's the limit". Pun definitely intended, because while 2 stroke aircraft engines are the obvious first step, 4 stroke shouldn't be too far behind. The main driver being OCP's adaptability to whatever the fuel used. Imagine all those planes using "one generic fuel system" able to use whatever fuel's available.
That has to have a flow on effect to other industries, so anything using an ICE will use OCP-DI primarily for versatility if nothing else.
Cook has mentioned that OEM's look for "commonality of parts" when designing and making engines.
What more common than a fuel system that will work using any fuel, just needing adjustments to the ECM.
Maybe you could eventually "punch your fuel type into the ECM" and you're flying(or boating or whatever) away again using whatever fuel they have available at the time. It's a realistic possibility. OCP-DI patents do cover all fuel types, even fuel cells, cooking oils, bio-diesels, ethanol and natural gas.(Someone catch that fart, please!)
