EPA application timelines

For those that are interested, the timeline flow diagram published by the EPA
that was posted by Portiss a few days ago can be found at

"Figure 14 provides an overall summary of the stages and steps of the EIA process and the EPA’s
minimum target timeframes."

According to figure 14, the total time taken for stage 3 is 34-49 weeks,
(so on average 41.5 weeks). Stages 4+5 take 8 weeks, stage 2 was 4 weeks.

VRX submitted the application on 18 March 2021, so that implies a decision
date of 1 April 2022. I suggest this should be a guide date for the EPA outcome,
unless VRX management update the market with reasons why it might be
expected to be any quicker.

VRX told the market at the time of submission
"The referral is the culmination of wide-ranging environmental studies
undertaken by and for the Company over the past three years and
extensive pre-referral consultation with the EPA."
So maybe some issues may have been resolved prior to the formal application,
which could result is a quicker processing time.
