As it doesn't seem to have been picked up by a few people: An appeal has been lodged against the EPA / ERD application.
An appeal cannot be lodged against the project itself - so it is against something that should have been addressed in the ERD or the Native Title agreements.
It the appeal is dismissed, you'd be entitled to think that this should be dealt with within 3-4 months.
If the appeal is upheld: Then the ERD or Native Title agreement needs to go back to the drawing board to address the appeal concerns. If it's Native Title (I'm drawn immediately to the last minute ERD amendment in Nov 2023 on page 2 of the ERD doc) then the timeframe is in years, not months.
It's enough for me to say Adios to AVL+ and sell out.
