You won't get an argument from me on those costs. Really, they might even turn out to be the base costs given that everything goes according to plan. The mob/demob costs, as well as the huge distances and simple lack of infrastructure are all going to add up - as well as add to the risk of things going awry.

That said, if it's not economical with $100 oil, then when will it be?

As someone on the CTP thread once said, I get the feeling that JH doesn't want to ruin a good story by actually drilling to see if there is any oil down there.
