For further development in the childrens app I would guess that the breif video capture would analyse the vocalisations and behaviors perhaps more so than microexpressions in the face, which would 99% of the time be used when the child is crying anyway. Perhaps the severity of audio indicators would prove more useful for babies than dementia patients.

It might make sense to some of the people reading but that doesn't say much if their ability to think critically is non-existent.

Yes if it can't distinguish between a baby in pain and one that wants attention for a non-pain related reason, then that means it doesn't work. What you are saying is self evident.
