There was research done by a US startup (incidentally bought out by Apple in 2016) that concludes that one can't fake the micro expressions of real pain. The company is now called iMotient I think. Perhaps the Curtain Uni team can perform a similarly designed experiment to validate. It would not be hard.

PD told me (quite a while ago now) that they are not pursuing the insurance application at the moment because EPT does not have enough resources, so one for the future, not now.

The use of PainChek in clinical trials to test effectiveness of pain medication can be achieved by the current version of the software. Maybe this is a good avenue to follow once more sales people are hired. There is an excellent listed ASX company called Cogstate (CGS) that has a software product that tests for early stage dementia, and is widely used by pharmaceutical companies to test effectiveness of Alzheimers medication in clinical trials. The clinical trial market is very lucrative for Cogstate.
