Others may find more accurate statistics, but the following is definitely ball park.
Approximately 5% of the over 65 years population in western countries have severe dementia. 13.3% of Australians are over 65, therefore the number with advanced dementia, for which ePAT would benefit, is roughly 170,000 people. If you charge $10 per month per patient that's a revenue pie of $20 million per year.
Next you factor in take-up rates over time and potential competition.
I don't think the market is factoring in much success at all given the market cap is around $17 million. There's pretty amazing upside for PD's ability to execute on the business plan. Think about it, several aged care groups are already keen to use the technology which has been shown to work, and approval will be in Europe as well as Australia expected in the second half.
