You’re correct that YHWH values obedience and service, but it’s important to understand that salvation is not earned by a lifetime of mostly good deeds. The Torah, the Prophets, and the Apostolic teachings make it clear that Yeshua alone saves. Human mistakes, sins, and weaknesses are already covered when we repent and trust in Him.
The distinction is critical: mistakes—sins we are not willfully hardened in—are forgivable because Yeshua’s sacrifice atones for them. But those who knowingly and continually serve the devil, or who reject the Holy Spirit, commit the unforgivable sin (Mark 3:29, TLV). This is a deliberate, conscious rejection of YHWH’s Spirit and the salvation offered through Yeshua.
In short, salvation is a gift, not a reward for mostly good works. Faith in Yeshua transforms our hearts, enabling us to turn from the devil’s ways and walk in righteousness.
