Biden doesn't want the UK to rejoin the EU. The OP article is clearly strongly biased, using terms like "breaking the shackles". Brexit is disastrous so far, so pro-Brexit media are looking for scapegoats. Biden doesn't have any trade deals on his agenda in the near future and is concentrating on his Buy American policy. Biden's personal opinion is leaving the EU was a dumb idea, true. But after the US Civil War, leaving a Union is usually regarded as a dumb idea by most Americans.
