Yes and no. Locking in prices at even well above today's/current very low spot prices could remove the significant upside we want when shortly the U price takes off. Some hedged gold miners suffered badly in the nineties when the gold price/AUD turned give an huge price gain to the contract holders and killing some miners. Lock in or hedge a bit for cash flow. Lock in or hedge to much and we would shoot ourselves in the foot
