    Veins that have formed at relatively low temperatures typically within <1km of the surface. They contain minerals and textures which are typically formed at lower temperatures. The geysers you see at New Zealand are the surface expression of a an epithermal vein which is forming from circulating hydrothermal fluids in cracks in the rocks.
