Maintaining a pit is not the same as deciding whether further deep mining is feasible.
As for independent checking, you surely remember the statement in the report to ASX of 14th January about the acquisition that EPM made. It states that EPM 'has not independently validated Exploration Results'. Nor are feet on the ground mentioned in the announcement of 10th March, which discusses merely the analysis of data obtained by the previous owner and others.
Finally, what makes you think I am entirely positive about things at the other site? My posts on those threads don't support your view - eg. one I posted today.
