I hope all is well, as having a leg , a torso , a snaggly in the epm pool and a toe (at least something ) in the ggg pool, I am a fence sitter with epm tendencies .

Now what I hear from the desert mob (the locals in the centre and north ) Is that they are not opposed to mining at devils elbow . They don’t much like the area at all. Pre white man settlement the locals noticed that if you spent to much time there you got quite “pica” (sick) .Babies we’re often born “wrong way “
From what I have been told this site has no cultural significance .

A reality for remote communities is that money ain’t flowing as much as it has before. Schools, clinics, basic shops , transport to regional centres costs a few $$ With no $ coming from Ranger Mine , it makes sense for locals to make a few $$ from other parcels of land . That’s what self determination is about , the local mob making decisions as to what and won’t occur .

Now then it is a tough gig organising meetings up that way . It ain’t just the northern land council , it’s also elders and other community members that often like to be heard , I’ve see. some big meetings up that way .

Then throw in other cultural requirements that are very important to the locals . Is there sorry business occurring , is there men’s business, women’s business ? Is it in the middle of the footy season . There are challenges bringing all the interested parties together at a given time .

But…, Carl has done a cracking job , he has sured up a huge parcel of land up that way, he will sort the other parcels out as well.

You have one chance to make a favourable impression with the nlt. Lie or bullshit to them and.. you can forget it As rio found out .

I reckon carl has been focussed on Greenland , it’s a small company with limited but exceptional staff .

Ok as for ggg. Well I reckon there is some valuable stuff in the ground . I reckon over time , governments change. , community opinions also change as well . It may mean that the venture takes a little longer then hoped . Rest assured, whatever is in the ground ain’t going anywhere…, money in the bank .

In any case Barry a big palya to you . I hope you make a couple of bucks on all you invest in
