@Dabble010 I obviously don't know, my opinion, for what it's worth, is that the company is fishing to see what interest is out there, the volume traded day to day since the rumour, suggests that no one is acquiring shares for a takeover. Management has not confirmed the rumours, and have only expressed a passing interest in the past about a possible listing in the US.
From a shareholder's point of view, it would be better if it didn't happen this calendar year, by then I believe the company will be delivering free cashflow and profit and the share price should reflect that, if you then factor in a premium for a takeover then $15/share is possible. From an acquirer point of view the time to move is now or before the August FY25 result and perhaps $7-$9/share is possible. Just my thinking but I could be way off the mark.
