So you can vote on the resolution before the 2 month notice period, as long as the company has called a meeting after it has received the notice of intention?

So if the company has called the meeting, doesn't that mean all bets are off and the vote goes ahead?

It seems that all this means nothing and we have a bunch of Directors boxing it out and then you have the amended announcement " Now reading by Majority of the Board " zero about the company all the time and money spent on lawyers . AB a Director of one now looks pretty stuffed as his move has been neutralized.
