Epstein stupidly thought that because of his intelligence service connections he was invulnerable. He wasn't.
Without power, friends, money (it would have been confiscated) or family connections Epstein was completely expendable.
Presenting extreme risk to key sovereign relationships, mafia interests and those with power, money and family connections the best Epstein could have hoped for was a life in an isolation cell. None of the parties I mentioned wanted Epstein to be talking or walking.
