i dont understand why on open someone would sell their parcels 0.002 under the current price when there were buys in for 0.050 - is this just jostling and manipulation by a big few in order to scoop up more shares at a lower price? certainly looks that way with a few bot trades thrown in for good measure.

What are the legalities of doing so? What is there to stop even a small trader with a large holding selling most at a profit then purposely driving the price down to re-buy at a cheaper price? Surely this is frowned upon and carries potential penalties?

Sorry for the questions just trying to get my head around a few things as i am relatively new to the share market casino.
