EPT has a big future with a global product. No one denies that. However, the capital raising was poorly done and the strategy behind it was not well thought out (pricing, lack of news flow, no details about the insto investor and family office, etc). In the process Management have created an environment where the market has lost some trust in their ability. Management is great on the technical aspects of what they are doing, but this latest episode shows they have not managed the capital base and the marketing of the company at all well. Now EPT Management needs to get the confidence of the market back. Management can lose the confidence of the market very quickly and it always takes longer to get that confidence back. PD and his crew can put their head in the sand and just wait, hoping that market confidence will return over time (which it will), or they can get on the front foot, get some serious PR happening and really show the market how the commercialisation of the APP is being accelerated. The details on this have been pretty sketchy to date, so getting some more info out about the ramp up in commercialisation of the APP would help bring back confidence. Lets hope they take the second approach and get on the front foot.
