I love that last sentence where Albanese says he wants the value-add to be on shore and not off shore.The first thing that comes to mind hear is the concept of a smelting plant which has been mentioned several times in the past and is based on that regional cluster of tungsten resource sites - ours at Mt Carbine, the old Watershed resource (ex Vital Metals) further to the NW and the Wolfram Camp west of Mareeba, all forming a triangular cluster within about 150 kms (?)

If the Albanese Govt is genuinely committed to the development of "value added critical minerals" then here is his low hanging fruit.
