    Hi greyviewer,

You are not totally right with what you are saying here.

First of all EQN is NOT a low cost producer, they are have said that they will produce copper at around $1.35 /lb

If you look around you will find plenty of companies who produce it at a lower costs and probably even more who produce it at a higher cost.

But they do produce a lot of Copper and are one or maybe the biggest open cut coppermine in Africa.

Zambia is NOT a minefield when it comes to mining and doing bussiness, they have a good track record for many many years and a great history of copper mining.

Equinox being a take-over target??? Very much so imho as you could not build a copper mine the size of Lumwana, for the price EQN has been able to do.

It would be much easier to take over EQN and have enough copper to keep the mine running for 37 years or more.

I will be very suprised , to see under the current high price copper environment, a mine like Lumwana and a company like EQN, to be still around in the next two years.

    good luck

    jojo
